In partnership with the Indianapolis Foundation, BLACK: A Festival of Joy is a free celebration inspired and supported by a collective of Black organizations and individuals seeking to support, center, and uplift Black joy in the city. This event will spark a movement to describe Black people by their contribution and sustaining factor: their joy. The festival and micro-granting program encourage and uplift uncompromisingly Black spaces and experiences in Indianapolis. GANGGANG produces the event and the programming, in collaboration with a steering committee of leaders representing various parts of the Black community in Indianapolis. GangGang_Culture
